hoping to glide

filled with gratitude - I love, LOVE living beside the sea

I'm tired this morning. That's not good, being tired first thing Monday morning. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed once again. I'll sort it out I always do - the key I know is to simplify. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly that means & more importantly how to achieve it - simplicity. A few mornings ago while having my coffee in bed and writing my morning pages I was thinking ahead to December, to after Dec 08th when our Christmas Farmers Market happens the last of this years big Creative Empire events. I was thinking about Dec 09 the remaining days of this year and how relieved I will feel to have a rest, thinking oh my, I would so like to coast to from then on into 2013. Just coast long instead of all this mad, fury of stuff i seem to try to tackle daily. Coast(ing) seemed to have negative connotations to me, somehow the word "coast"  sounded slack - & slack doesn't work for me.

Then I thought of the word glide, ah much better - my goal is to continue rockin' it here at the TTD*, here at 29 Black Street Creative Empire Headquarters 'til Dec 09 and then I so want, need, hope to glide gently & effortlessly into 2013.

  4. I like that idea. You know for years and years I took December off just to play and in the last few years I have not. You are reminding me that it is a good idea. Glide into the new year...
