We don't have "open shelves" in Puerto Rican libraries. The books in the back are usually full of fungus. I order everything on line or find it at Boarders. But I'm finding his latest (History of the Home, or something) absolutely turgid - an occasional point of interest, but in parts it's like reading huge chunks from Wikipedia.
