Best friend, personal coach, shrink, designer gal (etc, etc...) MLou gave me a Chapters gift card :-) among a treasure trove Christmas stocking filled with most excellent gifts* and this is the loot I ordered online. The most amazing soap, Lucia soft & creamy because of shea butter, knock you over beautiful scents and les stunning packaging with beautiful typography and Katherine Dunn's excellent (coil bound and lies flat - sigh) new book Creative Illustration Workshop.

* also included Karma (totally addictive patchouli/orange blend) body cream & shampoo bar,
faux red leather day planner for obsessive, note taking, idea recording, sketches and planning extraordinaire, Ganong chocolate covered marshmallow santa clauses ...

    I have some of that lovely Lucia soap! It's in my new shower room.....

    I know, I know, it was sent ages ago - well, I do have a soap hoard to maintain!

    Hi Rach I'd forgotten about that petite gift and I noticed far off in the background of new fabulous upstairs bath les pewter cameo heart frame (complete I think with much loved cat photo - Kevin perhaps ?) I am an avid soap hoarder as well, makes your bathroom smell so lovely.

    Karen you must try the little sampler guest soap package shown here - each little bar lasts ages and you get to test all the ah-mazing scents.

    Was looking at some beautiful lemon myrtle soap in the health food store yesterday, and the assistant said, "if you wrap this in a little paper bag and keep it in the glovebox of your car - your car will smell wonderful". Sold.
