Ira's simple rules for beginners

1. Have good taste.
2. it’s OK to suck. You will get better over time.
3. Set project deadlines to practice and get better!
4. Be patient and don’t quit. It takes a while.

    On my trip back to the land of the Blue Crab, I downloaded 10 hours of Ira's This American Life to my Ipod to get me through the drive. He just makes the miles fly by. He's right. It's ok to suck as long as you don't give up.

    I love his voice and like his "extreme" over use of the word "like".
