Thanks for explaining the chestnut and the Virginia Creeper - we were completely entranced by autumn on our recent trip and we've become determined to learn all we can about it.
I just don;t have that gene in me to arrange found objects into such displays of beauty like you do. Always amazing what you do with these--bringing out the beauty from within each object.

Hey Sweeties (& MS) the red leaf is from a gorgeous vine called Virginia Creeper it crawls up the front of this old brick house
