Living with integrity means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values. Making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe. - Barbara De Angelis

colour, the brighter the better, flowers, values, integrity & remembering my personal mantra (below) this Sunday morning

I will always tell the truth. My truth. I will be authentic.
I will be brave, thoughtful, & assertive. I will set my boundaries with care, kindness & grace whenever possible. I will choose discomfort over resentment.

  2. The bee is stunning!
Oh the smells of summer, of warmth, of the sun....
Speaking of Bea, your dear sweet little friend, any update of how she is doing? I always enjoyed the posts about her, she is a beautiful soul. It was obvious she was in her element when she was with you. She could be who she intends to be.....Bea!

  3. My sweet friend Bee (short for Billie) has moved to the opposite coast and now lives in British Columbia - we are just beginning really our soon to be (hopefully) mad, crazy pen pal, snail mail friendship. I was in my element also when I was with her - so strange & lovely we had an instantaneous deep connection, we met when she was 6.5 she turns 9 in Feb. Here are a few links to her sweetness. Her grandmother still lives here and her mother sends me oodles of pictures via email but I miss her terribly.

  4. I have weekly games of Crazy 8's with my friend who lives in Ontario. She calls me (good phone plan) and we chat and play cards ... Perhaps you and Bea could have play dates ?
