bleet, bleetness, nessie, nessie ness, chicelet - he's the same age as Missy D, a senior kitty at 14.5 -years old - lucky us !
Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are god. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods.
Christopher Hitchens
Bleet was raise by retrievers as a teeny tiny abandoned kitten - he quite simply adores retriever like Samuel

Oh, I love your tribute!! That first photo takes my breath away. All that stunning, soft spring green with that black panther all coiled up and tense movement, ready to spring even just in fun! And the one of you two together is lovely. So nice to see you! Glad he (?) is getting so spoiled. He deserves it.
ReplyDeleteA lovely post for sweet Nessie, beautiful photos, I love the first image and the one of the two of you.
ReplyDeleteWe can never give them too much love and affection.
xoxoxo ♡
A cat on a windowsill, one of my favorite sights. I don't mind if they think they are Gods.
ReplyDeleteOur house...is a very very very fine house...with two cats in the yard.....
ReplyDeletelovely photos
Interesting to see more and read more about Bleet, who has the most amazing eyes. I remember your story about Bleet the early riser.
ReplyDelete14.5 years is a pretty marvellous age for a cat. Kudos.
