paper collage created with my scanner - no glue, no scissors, just paper arranged & overlapped higgle piggly ;-)

Come from a space of peace and you'll find you can deal with anything.
Michael Singer

I am a seeker of peace ... it's practically a full time job of mine, especially lately. I'm always on the hunt for something to teach me, to inspire me, to relieve me of my self inflicted suffering (fear, worry, anxiety that if/when fully ramped up can and does turn into an insidious kind of depression). This morning as I sat down at my desk to begin a big Photoshop final art project I began watching this amazing interview I'd bookmarked for today from Oprah's - Super Soul Sunday (available online for a limited time) an interview with Michael Singer. omg ! I've just ordered 2 copies of Michael Singer's book An Untethered Soul, one for me and the other a gift for someone I know who's been chasing demons way longer than I have. Oh my goodness this interview, these words and ideas made me cry tears of solace - my heart opening wide with gratitude & such relief. If you are a seeker of peace, if you have a thorn to remove, or a demon or two to release - watch this video.

If you are resisting something, you are feeding it. Any energy you fight, you are feeding. If you are pushing something away, you are inviting it to stay.

  1. watched the video, thank you Susan. I really needed to hear that this week as I feel my anxiety ramping up. I am hoping my library has a copy of his book.

  2. I'm so glad you liked it BlueHeron ... I think it's the best thing I've watched/read lately and I've been reading & watching (online while I work) everything I can get my hands on that has to do with this "positive psychology" more spiritual twist on anxiety, depression, worry & fear.

There is nothing wrong with me/you/us

Who knew ... wow ! that is such a relief !
much love from me & the Gang xoxo Susan

  3. Thanks for the link to the video Susan. I had time to read your post before work and watched Michael on my return. There was (I thought) issues to worry about in the day ahead and I can tell you now not one of them happened. I would much rather approach things from a place of peace and found the link very useful.
