Miss D and I alone on the sandbars

I can't wait ... this winter's seemed so long. It's mild here this early morning which is a lovely change but the temperatures will drop back down into the minus' later on today and stay there for the next while. Sigh.

I had a great day at school yesterday the kids are beginning to feel comfortable with me and they're asking me for help more often. It was a very good idea - this volunteering to help the high school art teacher. Next week is March break and I must throw myself into my CE building - full force - full speed ahead.

I'm dreaming of long walks with my girl Winnie at the beach, a warm gentle breeze, of lying under a canopy of rustling bright green leaves - of a carefree life. Please.

  1. Such gentle soft colours in your delightful photos. I really like the snowy one of 29 Black Street on your side bar.Glad you are having a good time helping with the art students -like you, I like art as a subject as there are so many different outcomes and interpretations - all interesting. Love to you and the Furry Gang. xx

  2. Me too!! Can't wait for open fields and green grass. And more rain than I'm currently accustomed to.

  3. I am so ready for spring. We've been hit with more snow. I made an ice sculpture and a snowwoman a couple of days ago. It was fun and prevented me from bemoaning the snowfall.

We haven't had as much snow as the recent east coast dump, I wish you a great, and early, spring.
