seems someone think's it's quittin' time
Sigh. Mondays. Me and Mondays we don't get along that well. If there's a day of the week that I'm bound to beat myself up about all the things that didn't get done, all the things that should have been done, a day marked by a mysterious lack of enthusiasm and/or productivity - you can be darn sure it was likely a Monday. I can't figure out why that is ... and I guess I won't spend too much time trying to. Maybe I should see if I can't turn Mondays into something else - another kind of day - say maybe my housecleaning day Smirk ... or a housecleaning morning at the very least. A girl's gotta have a housecleaning day every now & then. Now there's a thought.
All I can say this early morning is TGIT !! - Thank Goodness it's Tuesday - and the plan is to make up for lost time. So ... we better getta goin'

I totally forgot that it was St. Pattie's Day - I am however wearing my super thick, cotton/poly, tres ugly, second hand (or should I say vintage -vintage late 90's) GREEN hooded sweatshirt while I work away at the teak topped desk this terrific Tuesday. And Ver is practicing his chair climbing skills on my office chair. Happy Irish TGIT !

i felt like skipping and singing tgif today as well. i simply do not like or function well on mondays!!! i tend to dislike my job more than usual on mondays and have very low motivation. today was much better!

ReplyDeletehahahha... yep.... up early. I was scratching the bejeepers out of a patch of eczema on my finger.. couldn't get it to stop. Had to get up. Soaked it in warm water and baking soda..and put on some wonder cream...and today it seems fine. Soap does me in.. don't know why I can't make myself wear rubber gloves more often ...
