fields of gold

Mr. I'm so handsome I can hardly stand it, I will pose pour vous in a big patch of sunlight

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in the fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in the fields of gold

Sting - Fields of Gold

There's another handsome Prince running carefree in the fields of gold. Running with his pack.
Running with Eva, Presley, Rose, Piper, Kevin, Bossy Lulu, Ernst, Em, Jake ... and so many more animal souls who take part of our hearts with them when they leave. Sleep tight sweet Jacob.

There are no words
we're holding your heart Shammy Sham with much love, Susan, Winnie Dixon & les Gang

oh those eyes - handsome kind Jacob

  1. We're all hurting so bad for our beautiful bestest girl Shamy.
She is such a bright light in all of our lives. Always there, always with a good word to brighten our day.

  2. Hi Dani,

She sure is the brightest of lights our Shammy Sham & we love her.

We know this kind of sorrow. It's what it is, there is no cure, no medicine - it's awful. Only time dulls this grief's sharp edge.

  4. My heart thanks you. That is exactly how I want to think he is right now, running, sniffing and exploring, always on the look out for something to chase. Oh my boy...

  8. I've said this before, often, I do know if I had had children I couldn't & wouldn't say this ...

I have not, I know I never will, love anything or anyone the way I love my dogs. I love dogs more, or differently, than my cats because of the time we spend together, twice each day exploring nature, walking in beautiful fields & meadows, through forests & along many beaches. I've really never wanted to walk with people. That time is sacred to me - it's a gift I've given myself, it's my religion & it's always been shared with my pack.

Missy D is 12 (and a half almost) and I cannot imagine life without her ... as much as I try to prepare myself for that reality. We all ache with you Shammy, lots of hugs & many kisses - Susan
