Handsome, handsome Monsieur Oliver posing in a big patch of sunlight Saturday afternoon - sorry ladies he's spoken for

I love cats because I enjoy my home;
and little by little, they become its visible soul.

I've shared my home with many cats but Boy Oh Boy ! or should I say Cat, Oh Dear Sweet Cat !

  1. Susan,
    The shadow pictures are truly awesome. And then he turns around the other way!
    The wooden floors are wonderful, so much history.
    Cats are wonderful. I would have many more than the three that share my world if I could.

  4. There's probably a physics lesson in photos #2 and #3, but I can't put my finger on it.

  5. Okay, I think this is it...

    Oliver's First Law of Sunshine: a body in sunshine tends to remain in sunshine unless an external force is applied to it.

    We would do well to follow Oliver's First Law ourselves.

  6. merci John ! for that petite physics law/lesson

    an addendum to the new First Law of Sunshine is that a body will remain (also) in sunshine for as long as the light is hitting the body's best side and showing off the body's most appealing & most excellent features.

    of which there are so many (in Oliver's case/body) ... ;-)
