beach glass in sunlight, summer 07

Good morning. Miss Winnie Dixon, with her new pink floral cotton kerchief on, would like to announce the winners of our little beach treasure packets:

Anya West
Mary D

please email me your postal address to [sablack77 (at sign)] and we'll get these off in the post to you at the beginning of the week. Thank you to all who left a comment (we really love when you leave a comment, we bloggers).

And thank you for all the kind thoughts, hugs, prayers, good vibes and well wishes being sent this way for me and my boy Jake. You have no idea how much it means to us, and a special thanks to Mlou who I know is always just a phone call away.

Hope to have Etsy shop product photos up by tomorrow, and some new photos of les chiens. Smile. Happy weekend to all.

  1. Congratulations on the imminent opening of your Etsy shop! I can't wait to see what you'll have on offer. Hoping you and your menagerie are all feeling well today. It's a grey flurryish day in Ottawa, but it's the weekend so it's the best!

  2. Susan and Miss Winnie Dixon, thank you so much for picking my name. I love the ocean but have always lived in landlocked places. So, treasures from the sea are especially precious to me. I read your blog every day, and I wish for good days for all of you.

  3. well, ....I guess I should congratulate the winners...if I hafta. ....sigh......

but, I wanted some sea glass...or beach glass.. ...or beach trinkets... or beach treasures... lovely worn smooth crockery...I love all those words! I can feel those words with my fingertips just saying them!

Can I perhaps barter for some? how about half a dozen little paper origami ornies in exchange for a little handful of sea treasures?... huh? whaddya say?

Hey ! We LOVE comments here at 29 Black Street.
