Em & Jake (a tiny speck of red near the horizon)- retriever heaven
In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustling of a wing.Robert Ingersollor in my case ... listening love can hear the splash of paws ...
racing into the water to fetch that stick.
If only I could have one wish ...
Happy tired dogs - Em & Jake
sweet babies :)xo J.

In that last photo are the two happiest dogs I have ever seen. Thanks for leaving a comment on my post Susan. I'll chase up your suggestions. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteStumbled across this morning during my daily blog-surf and though you would enjoy it:

Is there anything better than a dog's smile?
ReplyDeleteThat last photo of the pups is the best. They're smiling their little heads off and I couldn't help but smile myself.
ReplyDeleteI just now was able to read yesterday's journal entry. Be sure and add to that tiny life dream a tiny little handy man!

Wonderful happy faces! And I know exactly what you mean about one wish.
ReplyDeleteHonestly Anya, I've been on the hunt for the ever elusive (in these parts anyway) handyman guy. A rare and endangered species me thinks. I've practically given up ... that's why I call them Bogeymen - cause they are.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you all can see the love and happiness on Em & Jake's faces. And in the top photo they look like they are swimming in an ocean in heaven somewhere.
I love them both so much ... and I miss them. We miss them, Miss D and I.
Have a great weekend.
