a toasted, home grown tomato sandwich with hellmans mayonnaise & romaine lettuce

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero
'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero
'til the morning light

He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

Bonnie Tyler

- tomatoes from the garden
- chainsaws, reciprocating saws, extension ladders, pruners, & snippers (& 1 ton of enthusiasm)
- 1 handsome hero - boy oh boy he-sure-loves-his-projects, that Prince of All Things Good
- the black steed ('97 Ford Ranger pick up truck) loaded to the brim with yard and jungle debris
- movie night* (every night here at 29 Black Street) - last night's pick Bandits (sweet & funny)
- grape & cranberry juice popsicles
- enormous & fabulous paper stashes arriving at our little post office for me - hooray & merci !!
- fresh sheets & pillowcases just in from an afternoon hung on the line outside
- blue sky, sunshine and 20 c temperatures
- leaves, seed pods, spiders, chestnuts, asters, hydrangeas, pumpkins ...
- the sound of crickets
- feeling madly in love

happy Sunday
from the Bandits soundtrack and could be my theme song ... come on let's all dance, madly
* all our movies come from the library

Maybe I'll send you a photo of some warm jam-filled cupcakes as revenge.....
