Sam(son) in repose dans les headquarters for the tres bustling & just budding Creative Empire

We long for an affection altogether ignorant of our faults.
Heaven has accorded this to us in the uncritical canine attachment.

George Elliot

& once you've felt this canine affection & attachment life seems pretty darn bleak without it.

Yesterday was Mr. Samson's first full day here at 29 Black Street and it was a gorgeous, perfect, blue sky, sunshiny autumn day. Activities included a few walks around the streets of this little village, much zooming around in our giant fenced in dog yard and lots of snoozing while keeping les Gang company here at the second floor offices of Susan Black & Associates.

Good things ... boy oh boy, they just keep on comin'.

  1. Looks like one happy dog! It can only get better as he settles in.

    Such a lovely quotation too.

  2. Canine love and unbridled joy! Dogs do make you celebrate the ordinary by making it extraordinary!

  3. so nice to see Sam in action. He is a beauty and looks like he is happy to be part of the pack.

  4. Go Sam GO!

(isn't there a Dr. Seuss book by the same name?)

  5. He's a real beauty - oh, that nose! And I just LOVE your photo of pink hydrangea petals a few blogs back, the most beautiful flower pic I've seen.

  6. What a handsome and happy-looking dog! How old is he? Adoption stories always bring a tear to my eye.

  7. WOOF....a keeper! Tail wags to all,

  8. he is so handsome!!
dogs are the best and the life with them can't be boring!

  9. LOVE LOVE LOVIN Samson. :D Adore.
