I love this photo - layers of vintage wallpaper in a hallway here at 29 Black Street
We do not grow absolutely, chronologically.
We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in the other - unevenly.
We grow partially. We are relative.
We are mature in one realm, childish in another.
The past, present and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present.
We are made of layers.
Anais Nin
lots of layers.
some tissue thin & fragile.
some old, thick & calloused.
others no longer relevant molt & fall away
another favourite song for Moose Canadian band Blue Rodeo

i just love the peeling wallpaper pic and the anais nin quote - so, so true...
ReplyDeleteand i adore all the pics of your pretty pussycat :)
the wallpaper reminds me of the "Led Zeppelin IV" album cover - all that's missing is the pic of the old man with the bundle of stick on his back.
ReplyDeleteand more crows! yay!

Definitely peeling back layers over here. Would rather be doing it with wallpaper than with ye olde psyche, but there we are.
ReplyDeleteOMG! our favorite song indeee! Mom is obsessively printing CD covers for a birthday event happening at a movie theater, so this was very timely.... thanks! I laid in the Studio all day doing Q+A, what a life. Did you know raspberries are some of my favorite treats? Woof ~moose
ReplyDeleteMom was sad not to get into today's ALT Summit webinar...
Love the shot of the raspberries!
