  1. I'm in the middle of reading "Curtains" and I have "Baked" out from the library as well.

I'm going to add a few of these to my reading list as well--thanks for the post and the lovely photos too~~

  2. Bill Bryson's 'Notes From a Small Island' was the one that had me laughing helplessly. But I'm finding his latest (History of the Home, or something) absolutely turgid - an occasional point of interest, but in parts it's like reading huge chunks from Wikipedia. So disappointing!

That's a lovely chair you have in that photo, Susan. Just my cup of tea, as it were.....

  3. I've read lots of bill Bryon's books in fact. he is indeed quite funny.
Susan, have I told you how much I love your dark grey walls before? Oh yes, i think I have, multiple times in fact over the last few years. You are amazing. I love your style. you are THE quintessential creative in my book. :) Fantastic photos as always.

  4. How fortunate you are to be able to borrow books from a library. We don't have "open shelves" in Puerto Rican libraries. The books in the back are usually full of fungus. I order everything on line or find it at Boarders. Love the photographs of the book stacks and flowers, Susan.

  5. I've never heard of Bill Bryson, and I'm not familiar with happily peeing in my pants, I just thought that was a function of having been pregnant with twins once. Ha! Love the book description on his website.

    GORGEOUS PEONIES!!!!
