Winnie Dixon & Bleet
What we call the beginning is often the end
And to make an end is to make a beginning.
The end is where we start from.

The chickadees in our garden all sing ...
Missy D, D, Deeee ... Missy D, D, Deeee
The leak, which seemed very serious initially
appears to have been a one time event. Merci Monsieur Universe
Winnie D and I are sending all of our love
& too many sweet kisses to dear Presley & Julie
More Brandi Carlile, oh my, what an incredible voice
I can't get this song out of my mind
Everything reminds me of my dog. I miss him
He was my North, my South, my East and West.

Morning! Lovely to see Bleet and Miss D together like that. What a pair.
ReplyDeleteYour pup is so much like our old gal, Frisket (she is almost 16 years old!). I'm going to try and find a pic of her when she was younger - they could be sisters! And I have 2 black cats, so I've bonded completely with you! haha!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from the Neutral Zone... I will be listening for the clunck!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that early morning song, haven't heard the Skydiggers for ages!
ReplyDeleteWorking on a reply to email and a mailing... just have been busy, busy. Take care.
Hey Judy ! ya know I think I may have already heard the clunk ?!?
ReplyDeleteI still want to rub Winnie's face and get that cute little beard all standing on end.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous doggy cat pictures!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day:)
Oh Susan, I just read yesterday's post and this mornings all at the same time! It is positively IDYLLIC there! And the universe continues to pour out its blessings upon you...it knows you are richly deserving. Hugs and kisses to all!

ReplyDeleteBrandi Carlile really does have an incredible voice, doesn't she? thanks (As always) for the delightful links you provide us to lesser known (here) marvelous Canadian talent.
Oh my gosh......wow. I was sooo hoping you'd create something for the inch by inch art project and wow, I am so glad you did. You are incredible. I LOVE it. Well, I can see I will have to spend more time on my sketch next week! Can't wait to see what you do then too.
Take care. At some point I need to take the time and catch up with all your other blog posts I have missed lately. Sorry about that but know, that I will indeed read and relish each and every one of them and usually leave a comment (so be sure to go back and read them later).
You are an inspiration. The photography alone is gorgeous.
Sweet, sweet Susan. I have added you to the inch by inch link list, with a few words from my heart about you. THANK YOU from the very depths of my heart for participating in this weekly art show. It means SO MUCH to me. Really.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful day!!
Much love to you and the furry gang! xoxo
Susan, this entire post is almost too much to take in: the black and white pictures, the perfect compositions, the expressions on Winnie's face, the beautiful art ( I think it is your best one!), the comments, everything!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the drops have words in them ! cool idea
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet innocent faces! Gotta love those pets.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
I love this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
What a hauntingly sweet song!Your photo of Bleet and Miss is beautiful as is your art work. The inch by inch project sounds wonderful and I love what you have done with it.A new day is beginning here across the ocean and the birds are "chortling"- what a descriptive word that is. Much love.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful photograph of your dear friends. Like a painting. Miss Winnie's sweet face reminds me so much of Apple. Perhaps they have a similar background?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lettering on your art piece. I so admire everyone who has beautiful handwriting.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I'm getting the rain! Been over to visit Paris! Non-artist speaking here.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
wonderfuly submission to the "show". i love how each raindrop has a word.. since i'm a big fan of typography i really appreciate the creative use of type here and the newspaper print letters inside the cloud!
ReplyDeletea sweet cloud to bring in the rain, nice take on the theme and also it's not gloomy
ReplyDeleteREally nice photos Susan, I am also a lover of animals:)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more ! take care,
Julian :)
jut browsing and realized i did not see your sweet wishes to me and presley in this post!! thanks dear friend; you're the best! presley is hanging in there, i think his new anti-inflammatory meds are helping out and his appetite is better. his wobbliness is worse since he went off the prednisone but it just makes for a good excuse to pick him up and carry him in and out of the house with extra hugs and kisses on the way!!
