I didn't think you were feeling sorry for yourself. :) I thought those sighs were just you catching your breath! And I think I'll join you in the ice cream dinner. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your plan. I need to make one. I usually don't know what I will be doing ten minutes from now (adult ADD, maybe?).
ReplyDeleteOur NPR is the only radio here I listen to. Love it. Hopefully it is not so hot in your corner of the world. It's really, really hot here.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
A Yank's Version of Oh Canada (sung to the tune of Oh Tannenbaum)
ReplyDeleteOh Canada, Oh Canada,
How lovely are your Provinces
Oh Canada, Oh Canada,
How I long for your lobsters
Your maple leaves are everywhere
Even on some underwear
Oh Canada, Oh Canada
How lovely are your Provinces
Oh Canada, Oh Canada
We want to be good neighbors
Oh Canada, Oh Canada
But the Francophiles, they scare us
The Border Mounties are strong and Brave
Yet Mike Myers got through anyway
Oh Canada, Oh Canada
Send more like Carrie Ann Moss
Oh Canada Oh Canada
Do you really live in igloos
Oh Canada Oh Canada
And eat a lot of seal stew
Could you offer Oh please?
The content of poutines to me?
Oh Canada, Oh Canada
The Flipper Pie I will deny.
Happy Canada Day!
Substitute Edward for Winner, take out the flag and the seeds, and insert a vegetable lunch complete with cornbread, and you have my day.
ReplyDeleteI shall think of you!!
Nice day - I listen to CBC1 every Sunday afternoon - but I took a break today after "Tapestry" to watch the soccer game on the CBC internet. CBC is my lifeline, too.
