I heart red berries / St. John's Anglican church / kissing bridge road / foliage / a beautiful take on a historic renovation - I bet an architect lives here / it's Christmas time / street views / the harbour from Montague Street / gothic

hot steaming facecloths, mugs of orange pekoe tea with milk & sugar, cinnamon toast, twinkling Christmas lights, coffee in bed, a great creative project on the go, fleece mittens, having friends for lunch, super soul sunday with oprah , bowls of homemade soup, cats on laps + kitten kisses ...

these are a few of my favourite things ;-)

  2. Twinkling lights--still one of my favourite things at this time of year and you know, they are still up and with snow all over which stays white and glorious here in Colorado.

    What a beautiful church building!

Is that street named after General Cornwallis who fought for the British in the American REvolution? He was a fascinating man who in fact has foreseen (with symapthy) the rebellion to come with the stamp act, etc. He tried to have it repealed to no affect but when asked to fight for the British, he felt it was his duty nonetheless, thinking at the time that this would be a walk in the park which of course it wasn't. Fate seemed to turn against him at all odds in the craziest ways and you know the rest of the story.
