along the crescent beach
Drawing today here at the teak topped desk all day with hopes for an afternoon break nap/read tucked into the nest of cotton and flannel. Pillows stacked up high with pillowcases fresh from the line and smelling of outside, a big mug of tea, a cat or two and Miss
WD. A few Sunday hours of pure r & r ( rest &
rejuvenation).
Sounds like bliss Susan. Sunday afternoon naps are just the best!
ReplyDeleteNaps with books and kitties are the best:)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to schedule one of those for myself, today. :) Of course, one of my dogs snores, and the other is a bed hog. LOL! Have a wonderful creative day. :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds perfect, Susan. Enjoy your day.

ReplyDeleteMy Sunday is filled with thunderstorms and pouring rain! Yum. I woke up and couldn't move. Edward was on one side and Apple on the other. I muttered, "jeez, I can't move". And heard my husband reply, "You? what about me? We all four fell back asleep. The perfect Sunday.
ReplyDeleteWashing straight off the line smells divine! And my lovely cat Millie smells just the same when she's been out in the evenings - what a bonus!
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteIf you have never slept with a kitty, you don't know how to relax. Purring, sun-smelling pillows that move to just the right spot when you need them!
