red buildings & the sea
Friday, December 12, 2014
I'm crazy about all the red buildings here in lovely Lunenburg / standing on the edge of a large wharf smelling the sea - sigh / Lunenburg Academy / ships, more ships & boats / where to but scallops + more red love / view from a wharf / the view from Montague St. near the Foodland / I love you Lunenburg !
hark, now hear the sailors cry,
smell the sea, and feel the sky
let your soul & spirit fly, into the mystic...

good idea! Looking forward to the Lunenburg-inspired art!
ReplyDeleteThe red buildings are beautiful, they really stand out against the colours of the other architecture and the Winter sky. Will it snow there in Winter? Lovely words from Van Morison.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you are enjoying your projects sear Susan. :)

looking forward to seeing how your new location influences your art!
ReplyDeleteLunenburg loves red, doesn't it? And such a wonderfully vibrant read too, to boot. Love the architecture. Thank you for always giving us these virtual tours of a newly discovered place for me, at least. I'm surprised I had never heard of it before.
