"ok, here we go!". that's the way I typically feel at the beginning of every big work (as in the job I get paid to do) project. i love the planning process. i equate it to a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle where you have to find puzzle piece 1 and then 2 and then 3. all very sequential. then when you get about 3719 of the pieces in place someone (a boss or co-worker or vendor) throws a chink in the works and you have to go back to piece number 376 and rearrange, cut down the pieces, color over the oranges to make them green, etc. i've built a career on being able to do all that planning, processing, reconfiguring look easy and seamless. i must confess that as i age it gets harder to remain unruffled by it all. that's why i love the little art projects i do. i am 100% in control of every aspect and the only person who can mess it up is me. oh, what exhilarating freedom and power. lol
