the ice is beginning to leave the harbour & our world remains beautiful, still & muted - in shades of grey from white to black

Learn the alchemy
true human beings know.
The moment you accept
what troubles you've been given,
the door will open...

oh Rumi,

  1. oh, Susan! I just loved the video. Never heard of this fellow before, but if I like nothing else of his, this will become one that I must learn the words to... which, typically, I don't do! Now I only wish I could sing well!

thank you once again for introducing me to a musician I probably never would have found on my own.

  2. Hi Kath ! it's such an uplifting song isn't it & his voice -amazing. Makes me cry, good tears, every time I watch it - so happy that the lyrics and video resonated with you too ! much love xoxo Susan & gang

snail mail coming soon .... promise

  3. The video - how energetic, enthusiastic, youthful and hopeful. Wise words as well - carry on. Yes I got a well up too.

  4. This group won a grammy this year..best new artist but they've been around for over 10 years (according to their acceptance speech). I LOVE this song and have it bookmarked on my computer!

  5. I loved the song too! It brought back memories of when I did the NYC marathon... running through the streets of NYC a memory of a life time. Tail wags ~moose

  6. Oh, Susan, that first photo literally took my breath away! And thank you for posting the song. I've heard it before but it was perfect for today.

  7. Wonderful photos dear Susan, though Winnie looks cold...inspiring words from Rumi.
