the beginnings of a new poster - 2ft x 3ft - for my etsy shop

It's still dark outside, I'm hunched over my second cup of coffee typing by the glow of my lovely gigantic 24" imac. Bleet's hanging out near me on the wide window sill. Winnie's in her bed under my desk, my toes are curled up in her shaggalicious black fur and those kittens are pealing around playing kitten chase me please games. Hey Tuesday ! I think it's going to be a good one.

Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are.
Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart.
Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.
Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so.
One day, I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face
in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky
and want, more than all the world, your return.

I'm working on a few posters (2' x 3') for sale in my etsy shop (mid October) and the Beautiful poster above is still a bit of a work in progress, now that I have the overall design worked out I'll be adding a few collage elements. I do so love the combination of red & black & white together.
I always have. Not in clothing ever or in home decor yikes but oh were it left to me and my darn devices everything, or at least many, many things I design would end up in these three rockin' colours (?) are black & white even colours ... I don't think so.

I have another 2011 poster calendar currently for sale dans les etsy shop. Hey Normal Day ! Same spectacular price $10. USD + shipping. Black & white printing on heavy pure white bond paper with hand applied/stamped red accents. Seems an absolutely perfect quote to be reminded of each and every day. With apologies to Jean for some minor text editing ;-)
