She, Missy D, the one I simply adore had a very good vet report. Arthritis, combined with our humid heat wave and a few senior moments the most likely diagnosis. No dreaded big bad disease, no xrays (yet). Dianne Stevens thought she looked great. I on the other hand feel like I've been run over by a truck. Days of dread and worry, anxiety and heartache preparation has certainly taken it's toll on me. I feel like I could sleep for days. My guard like some broken garage door feels like it's caught in a half way down position. That edge of loss still sharp.
That darn ol' fear settled in for a stay ... it lingers yet.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that Missy D is ok! As our pets age they go through a few changes just like we do and start slowing down a little. I understand how it takes time to acknowlege the good vet report also, but as days go by you'll see that she really is ok.
